FAQ

Short answers to the questions that come up most.

Does the server give me the game client? No. The server does not distribute client or diff files — see beta client.

Which server channel should I pick? The one closest to you: March7th.cc (the default) is in Hong Kong, HoyoToon in Europe, and KunPS — the backup — in China. See Windows · Cyrene Launcher.

Do my account and save carry over between servers? No. The three servers are separate; you need a game account on each one you play on, and each has its own save.

Do I have to sign in to the launcher? No, it is optional on every server — signing in links the launcher to your Cyrene account. Admins can make it mandatory, in which case the launcher asks you to.

What's the difference between my Cyrene account and my game account? The Cyrene account is for this website and launcher sign-in. The game account is what you log in to the game with: for March7th.cc it is created on your profile after verifying your email; for HoyoToon it is registered at march7th.hoyotoon.com or in game; for KunPS in game. See account & linking.

Why can't I create a game account? Your email address isn't verified yet. Resend the verification mail from your profile, or ask an admin in QQ group 1106945834 or on Discord if it never arrives.

Can I have two accounts? No — one Cyrene account per person; see account & linking. If the per-network rule catches you unfairly (shared network, campus, CGNAT), an invite code gets you past it — a verified friend can generate one on their profile.

Can I sign in with Discord and GitHub? Yes. Bind the second one from your profile page. If both use the same verified email they are merged automatically.

Why is my Username wrong in SRTools? Username is the in-game UID, not your account login name. That single field causes most connection failures.

Why does my enhanced character feel weak? Enhanced state(加强状态)is off. Turn it on in game.

Can I replay an old Memory of Chaos? Yes, through Calyx Mode — see Calyx mode & endgame stages. Anomaly Arbitration uses /peak instead.

Is macOS supported? Through Evernight-Launcher — see macOS.

Where do I report a bug? QQ group 1106945834, or #support on Discord. For launcher bugs specifically, the GitHub issue tracker works too.
