Getting help
The order to try things in, and what to include when you ask.
Work down this list. Most questions are answered before step 4.
- Read the tutorial for your platform in #guides — or its page here: Windows, macOS.
- Windows launcher problem? Check the launcher console page.
- macOS launcher problem? Follow the macOS tutorial.
- Ask in QQ group 1106945834 — the main community group; someone has usually hit the same problem. You can also search #support on Discord for your error.
- Still stuck? Describe it in the QQ group or create a post in #support, with the error message and the relevant logs.
- Check the QQ group announcements, or #update and #announcement on Discord, for maintenance or server changes before assuming it's your setup.
Please do not DM administrators for routine support, and do not repeatedly ping them in the group or a channel. Asking in the open, in the QQ group or #support, reaches more people and leaves an answer behind for the next person.
What to include when you ask
- Platform (Windows / macOS) and server channel (March7th.cc / HoyoToon / KunPS).
- Launcher version.
- The exact error message, as text if you can.
- What you already tried from the tutorial.
